SA Blog Awards

Much to our surprise and delight we just got notified that we won best runner up in the LGBT category of the SA Blog Awards. We are especially surprised because we have only been going for about 4 months... Many thanks to everyone who voted for us!
I have to add that even here I'm still the token straight chick, just like when I wrote for The Modern L hahahahaha Love it!

Why?

Because we can and it's a fun way for some of the columnists I worked with at The Modern L to stay connected so to speak. Each and every one of the collaborators on this blog is someone I consider my chosen family so obviously we are all just a teeny bit left of center! Ok, maybe more than just a teeny bit. We all have different writing styles so we hope you find something you enjoy. It's named after our pub at home and just like in our pub, no subject is taboo. Except any form of bigotry! Because this is just for fun we will add to it whenever the muse hits so some days there might be more than one post while days or weeks can go by without a thing being written. We all have busy lives you know! Drop us a line if you would like to contribute too, once off or whatever, the more the merrier we always say! Like a Boss is where we will feature people and things we find fabulous and worthy of keeping an eye on and Cocktail Hour is all about our perfect cocktail party in the sky. Contributions from readers will appear on the home page and don't get confused if the layout changes, we are all very opinionated on what we like and don't always agree, makes life more interesting anyway.
